Changes in Class Package Activation

As part of our commitment to continuously improve our services, we want to share upcoming changes based on the consistent feedback we’ve received from our community on how class packages activate.

Class packages purchased from the 22nd of September forward will automatically activate on the date of purchase instead of the first reservation.

This change addresses the most common issue clients have shared with us: class packages disappear from the account view until the activation date, causing unfortunate confusion and troubleshooting. The current system also prevents registering for classes or waitlists before activation dates set in the future.

Now, packages will be visible on your account immediately, and you will be able to book classes at your leisure without having to submit activation date change requests, saving you time and making the booking process more intuitive.

Freezing of Class Packages

We understand some enjoyed the option of activating packages when ready. If you would still prefer to activate your package at a future date, we want to remind you of the option to freeze your package until you are ready to attend classes.

Improved Class Availability

To ensure that you can use your class packages right away, we have also significantly expanded our class schedule, providing you with more options to book sessions that suit your availability. We’re committed to continually updating our class schedule based on demand and your feedback, always ensuring a wide range of class times.

Redeeming unused visits from active Yoga, Barre & Mat Pilates class packages

As we bring our Yoga, Barre, and Mat Pilates classes to an end, we would like to take a moment to provide more information on how to redeem unused visits on mat packages.

To ensure you can get the full value out of your purchase, and that this transition is as smooth as possible for you, we are offering two options for everyone with an active mat class package as of June 30th:

A) Full Refund: You can request a full refund for your remaining visits.
B) Conversion to Reformer Pilates Drop-Ins: Alternatively, you can convert your remaining visits into Reformer Pilates drop-ins. For each unused visit, you’ll receive one Drop-In (valid for a year) at no extra charge.

Selecting your preferred option:
1.) Open our live chat (available on our website’s bottom right-hand corner).
2.) Select ‘Redeem unused mat visits.’

We will provide detailed information on both options and allow you to chat with us should you have any questions before making your decision.

Processing timeline: To avoid disruptions in the use of class packages, we have scheduled to start the initiation of refunds and conversions in the first week of July. We kindly ask that you let us know your preferred option as soon as possible to ensure a prompt transition.

The future of our class offerings

First and foremost, we want to express how deeply grateful we are for everyone in this community and the support you have shown us over the years. We understand the profound impact these following changes may have on you and on our community as a whole and want to assure you that we did not come to this decision lightly.

As one of many steps toward a new direction for the studio, we have made the difficult decision of dedicating the focus of our in-studio operations solely to Reformer Pilates.

Here’s what this means:

• Yoga, Barre & Mat Pilates Classes: The classes will continue until June 30th.
• Unused Visits: For any unused visits, we will offer either a full refund or a conversion towards Reformer Pilates classes. More information on selecting your preferred option will be made available by the end of June.

Until now, we have felt that our efforts have been divided, which has presented challenges as we have worked to manage a growing demand for our classes. Much like our name change and upcoming on-demand Pilates platform, this decision reflects another step in shifting our focus to providing the most dedicated Pilates experience possible. In order to do this effectively, we will convert our back space to a second Reformer practice space, equipped with eight new machines.

We understand that this news may evoke a sense of nostalgia and sadness, as cherished memories were created within the walls of our mat space. Please know that our entire team shares these emotions. It’s our hope that you will feel welcome to continue your practice with us on the Reformer side, and know it has been our greatest privilege to be a part of your practice.
